Genius...Writing/Acting...Reese, in his little apartment, half-dressed, waiting for the phone to ring, listening to the ball game, ...he's a pathetic but lovable character...he needs a dog or two in his new flat!

Many Happy Returns was an excellent episode. It gave a lot of Reese's back story and we learned what happened to Jessica. Loved the ending with Finch in the wheel chair saying " I am so sorry".

The new apartment for Reese was awesome. I read between the lines that the "key" has to do with the sense of "home". The boy in Wolf-Cub had hoped that one day Reese would find a home too. Additionally, "home" infers a sense of belonging.

I love this show!

Opening up COLD CASE File "New Rochelle"...

In watching MHR over again, I came up with some items I had overlooked before:

1. When John found out that Jessica had died in a car accident, I assumed that he knew that Peter killed her (don't know why I assumed this...in Epi Matsya, she assured him that both her and Peter were fine). But on leaving the hospital, all he knew was that she died in a car accident. He must have then gone to investigate her death (perhaps coming across some of the thugs that Peter was involved with ... thus, the bloody wound in his side on the bus to New Rochelle) and then went after Peter...

2. The crash report involving Jessica and Peter indicated that both front and side airbags were deployed but the pictures didn't show this...

Also

3. Question: Was Peter trying to kill himself and/or cover up Jessica's death or was he legitimately run off the road trying to get her to the hospital? How could he have known that the accident would just sustain a bad enough injury to survive?

4. Also noticed that all of the funeral flowers were dead around Jessica's sympathy cards indicating that he had just been released and come home after a 2 month hospital stay...



Questions Questions Questions Questions

Mmmmmm ... Finch had the file with Reese and Jessica in his lap at the hospital, so it can safely be assumed that her number HAD come up repeatedly, as John guessed.

So, do you think her number is somewhere on his board of "lost opportunities"? Or did he take it and maybe her picture down before he recruited Reese? Even the number, John might have noticed/recognized.

That is some damn careful planning, I must say.
