Episode 2.01: "Contingency"
--Despite a valiant effort on Reese’s part, Reese and Finch’s reunion won’t come in the season premiere. In fact, most of Finch’s scenes take place in flashbacks, as we see how he trained the Machine to work. (Fun fact: The machine’s excellent at blackjack!) What we do see of Finch in present day is a pretty certain fear of Root, who both reveals why she wants the Machine and proves exactly how ruthless she will be in order to get it.

Episode 2.02: "Bad Code"
--directed by Jon Cassar, former producer/director of "24"
--Emmy Award Winner Margo Martindale (“Justified”) Guest Stars as a woman from Root’s past
--The Machine delivers the number of a cold case that leads Reese ever closer to catching up with Finch and his kidnapper, Root.

"Checking in from Comic Con. Just saw Michael Emerson do a interview on Extra and he stated he's been shooting in gas stations and diners on the road. Looks like he and Root are taking a road trip. Got a video of it but its probably already on the net. Getting ready to brave the lines at the POI panel. It's still 3 hours away but the line is growing. Wish me luck.

Update:

Just finished the panel. Couldn't video with iPhone because they were using a verizon network /: but they showed a quick 5 min season 2 sneak peak and they ( spoiler)

Showed what was on the other line. It was a voice sending numbers and clues for Reese to figure out. Then Reese in his searching discovers a clue, a name Leon and he goes to the bar to retrieve it and proceeds to kick ass. So it seems Leon is the key in getting back Finch."

"We were shown a recap of the first season, and the recap ended with Reese picking up the phone, but It didn't end there, it was immediately followed by the preview.

We see Reese picked up the phone, and a woman's voice saying numbers was heard, Reese' expression unreadable. Then we see someone (presumed Reese) picking up Crime and Punishment from the library, and he started writing on their board.

Switch scene to where Reese is talking to Leo/Leon/Li Yong/whatever his name is aka Ken Leung from LOST, and scene switch again to some guy threatening Reese about leaving Leon to him. We see Reese has Still's badge out, but then he said something along the lines of "If I were the detective that was the owner of this badge, I would just leave, but I'm not him", and when asked who he was, he replied "Oh, just the guy that shot the cop and stole his badge." and he then preceded to shoot all the kneecaps out and left with Leon.

Then back to the board now filled with picture of Root and I'm guessing little trails of Finch's whereabouts, and Reese said something along the lines of "Come on Finch, help me find you.".
